Ethics approval and consent to participate: This study used retrospective breeder-registry data collected during routine canary breeding management at Dr. Ercan Mevliyaoğulları’s own hobby canary breeding facility. No experimental procedure, invasive intervention, treatment allocation or additional manipulation of animals was performed for this study. Because the dataset consisted of retrospective records owned and curated by the breeder-author, no third-party breeder or association permission was required. Under these conditions, institutional animal ethics approval was not required.
