: The animal feeding experiment was carried out at a commercial ranch in Nankang County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, China (25°89′-26°11′N, 114°58′-114°83′E). The tested animals were housed in an open cowshed, and managed under an individual tethered feeding mode. Informed consent was obtained from all relevant owners before data and sample collection. All animal procedures were approved by the owner of farm and the Ganzhou Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Research Institute Animal Welfare and Ethics Committee (Approval No. AW2024102001).
