Ethics approval and consent to participate: All the specimens were submitted by practising veterinarians, and the procedure of specimen collection followed the Act on the Protection of Animals Used for Scientific and Educational Purposes (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland of 2019, item 1392). In light of these regulations, approval of the Ethical Committee was not required. Informed consent of the animals’ owners was obtained.
