Ethics approval and consent to participate: This retrospective study analyzed de-identified residual respiratory swabs collected during routine clinical diagnosis of household cats, without any research-specific animal manipulation. All sampling followed Chinese national companion animal welfare and veterinary diagnostic regulations, and client informed consent was obtained for standard clinical testing.
