Ethics approval and consent to participate: The study was approved by the Uppsala Regional Animal Ethics committee/Swedish Board of Agriculture (5.8.18–09149-2022) and all owners provided written informed consent. Medical decisions regarding the individual animals (including euthanasia) were taken by the attending veterinarians and were not influenced by the conduct of this study.
