Ethics approval and consent to participate

: KARE is are a part of Korean Genome Epidemiology Study (KoGES). In this study, the exome sequencing data from 1037 samples of KARE study were used. KARE dataset was used under the partnership of T2D-GENES. The study using KARE samples was approved by two institutional review boards at Seoul National University and the National Institute of Health, Korea.

: All participants of KARE were provided written informed consent.
