: The use of clinical HCC specimens was in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. The HCC specimens were obtained from tissue bank of National Cheng Kung University Hospital and this study was approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of National Cheng Kung University Hospital, Tainan, Taiwan (ER-99-347 and A-ER-101-245). The usage of all clinical specimens was anonymous.All animal studies were according to protocols approved by Laboratory Animal Committee of National Cheng Kung University (Approval No. 103234).
