Ethics approval and consent to participate

: The institutional Ethics Committee of the University of Lausanne, which later became the Ethics Commission of Canton Vaud approved the baseline CoLaus/PsyCoLaus study; the approval was renewed for the first and the second follow-up. The study was performed in agreement with the Helsinki declaration and its former amendments, and in accordance with the applicable Swiss legislation. All participants gave their signed informed consent before entering the study.
