Declarations
:
: In Avicenne hospital, and more generally, in all the Public Assistance Hospitals located in Paris, patients are informed at admission that their medical records may be used for research, unless they indicate their opposition. For the present study, specifically the retrospective data collection dimension, we sent an information note to persons who met inclusion criteria by postal mail. Recipients could oppose to their data being used, by sending an e-mail or letter to the study coordinator within 14 days from the date the information note was mailed. Two patients indicated opposition to the use of their data. For the prospective data collection dimension, non-opposition was requested at the time of the PWV measurement. The Ethics Committee of Avicenne Hospital approved the study.
