: This study followed STARD 2015 reporting guidelines, and it was conducted following the ethical standards of the institutional and national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki Declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. The collection of human sera was approved by the Medical Ethical Committee of the National Research Centre (Approval NO: 19314).The consent for participation/publication is not applicable in this study, as human sera were collected in the context of the National Campaign for HCV Screening and Treatment (<i>100-Million Seha</i> initiative) in Egypt during the period 2018–2022, supervised by the National Committee for Control of Viral Hepatitis (NCCVH), Ministry of Health and Population, Cairo, Egypt.
