: The evaluation protocol was approved by the Columbia University Medical Center Institutional Review Board (protocol IRB-AAAQ9415), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Center for Global Health (CGH HSR Tracking #:2016–231), and the Sierra Leone Ethics and Scientific Review Committee. Written informed consent was obtained from HWs for the HF assessment and KAP survey as well as from eligible caregivers for the household survey. Verbal consent was obtained for the collection of DBS for SP resistance testing.
