Ethics approval and consent to participate
: All the ethical guidelines and principles placed in the Declaration of Helsinki and others, essential to address the ethical aspects of the research commenced in humans were taken into account. Accordingly, primarily an ethical approval letter was obtained from the Institutional Review Board of Hawassa University College of medicine and health science (Reference Number: IRB O56/11). Then a written letter from the University was obtained and submitted to the Boricha district health office. All sampled populations were encouraged to participate in the study while at the same time, they were told their right not to participate was also respected.
