: The study was conducted in accordance with the guidelines and regulations set forth by the Declaration of Helsinki. The study was approved by the Medical Research and Ethics Committee Ministry of Health Malaysia (NMRR ID- 21-01980-JEH) and the Research and Innovation Secretariat, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (FF-2021-462). All the interview protocols and informed consent were delivered in Malay, which participants could understand. All the participants were literate. Written informed consent was obtained from all the participants. A native-speaker interpreter attended the sessions to ensure accurate interpretation. The participants were provided with the transcription of their interviews within 7 days to confirm accuracy. Each study participant received a token of appreciation in the form of a t-shirt. Photovoice participants were given a telephone pre-paid amount of RM30.00 (equivalent to approximately USD 6.68) for their participation throughout the study. All photographs used in this article were obtained with the consent of the participants.
