: Ethical approval and consent waiver to conduct this study was sought from the Mbale Regional Referral Research Ethical Committee (REC), Approval No. MRRH-REC 053/2019. Permission to conduct the study in the hospital was sought from the Medical Superintendent—Apac District Hospital. Confidentiality was ensured by keeping the data collected secure under key and lock. The study conformed to the provisions of ethical standards in Uganda.
