: This CSS was part of the MSMT project whose protocol was reviewed and approved by the Medical Research Coordinating Committee (MRCC) of the National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR). Authorization to conduct the study was obtained from the President’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG), regional authorities, and the District Executive Directors. Information about the CSS was disseminated in the community through their village mobilization teams for two consecutive days preceding the survey. Before participating in the survey, verbal and written informed consent were sought and obtained from all participants or parents/guardians in the case of children. Permission to publish this paper was sought and obtained from the Director General of NIMR.
