: The study conformed to the Declaration of Helsinki and Standard Operating Procedures that meet current regulatory requirements and guidelines laid down by the International Conference on Harmonisation for Good Clinical Practice in Clinical Studies. The clinical trial was approved by the relevant Independent Ethics Committees, national Institutional Review Boards, and local regulatory authorities at Centre de Recherches Médicales de Lambaréné (CERMEL) (Lambaréné, Gabon).
