: The study protocols for mosquito colony blood feeds and human landing catches (HLCs) were ethically reviewed and approved by the Ghana Health Service Ethics Review Committee (GHS-ERC: 021/07/23). Volunteers involved in colony blood feeds were tested for malaria prior to direct-feeding, and the same person fed the mosquitoes throughout the experiment. Permission to conduct HLCs in study sites was obtained from the District Assembly Representative, and written consent was obtained from all collectors. Collectors had access to malaria prophylaxis and did not report any adverse events.
