: This study was conducted within the CUREMA research project, which received authorization from the relevant committees in the countries where participants were enrolled, i.e. in Suriname (Ministry of Public Health n°CMWO 005/22) and Brazil (CONEP n° of advice: 5.507.241). The first phase of the qualitative survey was part of a project supported by TDR (Tropical Diseases Research), which was authorized by the Suriname ethics committee (nºCMWO 2433.MVO) and the WHO Ethical Review Board (Protocol ID TDR-IMP-SDF21-FF-001). This study meets the requirements of Reference Methodology 001 (MR-001) of France's Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés. All participants agreed to participate in the research, either through written consent (epidemiological component) or verbal consent (qualitative component).
