: After submitting an online request for access to sub-Saharan African DHS data, a permission letter from allowed the study to proceed. The datasets were handled with complete assurance. The sub-Saharan DHS provided the secondary data used in this investigation. Independent consent is not relevant for us because the DHS office handled informed consent, confidentiality, anonymity, and privacy of study participants ethically. The data was not used outside of this study.
