: This study is part of a large campagn of distribution of insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) and Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) organized by the Minister of Health since 2007 in some regions of the country including Kedougou. Informed consent was obtained verbally from all stakeholders commetted to fight for malaria elimination in senegal. Each year, the Minister of Health bring togather its staff members via the National Malaria Control Programme and the stakeholders including the local authority, village leaders and the households participating in the study individually for the preparation of activities of the annual campagn., In 2020 the Minister of Health provided an information letter to the population as well as to administrative and health authorities. This letter was intended to remind all stakholders the launch of the indoor residual spraying campaign and the joint activities planned to facilitate its implementation and ensure its success.
