: The Health Office’s Ethics Committee provided ethical approval (Ref. No.:2108, Date: 13 November 2022). The study was also approved by the district health office. Ethical guidelines derived from the Declaration of Helsinki were followed throughout the research. Participation was optional, and all participants provided written informed permission after being explained the study's aims. Participants' confidentiality and privacy were ensured throughout the study. All asymptomatic malaria patients were sent to the nearest health unit or facility for suitable care according with national malaria treatment guidline.
