: Dr. Jose Zariffa and Dr. Milos R Popovic are the inventors of the patent for facial functional electrical stimulation to modulate affect; the patent belongs to University Health Network. Dr. Milos R Popovic is the Chief Technology Officer and Director of Myndtec, Inc. a company that manufactures transcutaneous functional electrical stimulators. Dr. Bastien Moineau is working with Myant Inc. as a MITACS post-doctoral fellow at the University of Toronto. Myant is developing functional textile that can, among others, deliver electrical stimulation, and thus may develop an application based on the methods used in the present study.
