: AY is a PhD candidate at the School of Health Policy and Management at York University. She received her BSc in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University in 2007 and then went on to complete a MSc in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2009. Her research interests include social and health policy, access to health care services, and women’s health. In addition to pursuing her PhD, she is a practicing physical therapist in the Greater Toronto Area.
