: The GAS isolates analyzed in this study were collected from clinical laboratories. Our study was a retrospective study based on the clinical specimens, which were part of the routine hospital laboratory procedures. This study was reviewed and approved by the Ethics Committee of Beijing Children’s Hospital. The ethics committee waived the need for participants’ informed consent because the study was retrospective. The study was conducted following the principle of the Declaration of Helsinki.
