: The study adhered strictly to the guidelines and ethical principles approved by the Ethics Committee of Plastic Surgery Hospital [2023 (155)]. Prior to enrollment and the collection of remaining ear pictures and specimens, written informed consent forms were obtained from the parents of the microtia children. The primary remaining ear cartilage and adipose tissue were obtained from Microtia children who underwent ear reconstructive surgery. The Plastic Surgery Hospital Biomedical Ethics Committee approved the use of animals for research purposes [2023 (77)]. The surgical procedures followed the guidelines for the care and use of laboratory animals.
