: The research study titled “Purified exosome products attenuate chondrocyte apoptosis by modulating autophagy to alleviate and treat osteoarthritis” involving the use of Rats was conducted in strict accordance with the guidelines and principles set forth by “MAYO CLINIC Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee”. All experimental procedures, care, and handling of the animals were reviewed and formally approved by the MAYO CLINIC Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, under approval number IACUC Protocol A00006568-22. Utmost care was taken to ensure the welfare of the animals and minimize any distress. The number of animals used was kept to the minimum necessary for meaningful statistical analysis. Wherever possible, non-invasive techniques were employed, and efforts were made to ensure the animals’ well-being throughout the study. After the study, all animals were humanely euthanized following the guidelines of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Guidelines on Euthanasia.
