Written informed consent was obtained from each patient. All patient data were kept anonymous. Animal experiments adhered to the National Institutes of Health guidelines for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals and the Regulations for the Administration of Affairs Concerning Experimental Animals (2017.03.01 edition) published by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China. At the experiment’s conclusion, animals were euthanized by an overdose of inhalation anesthetic.
