: The protocol was reviewed and approved by the Ethical Committee of the A-Clinic Foundation. Research permits were obtained from three NGOs and the city of Helsinki, which run the services where the samples were collected. The data were collected using pseudonyms, and no individual could be identified from the collected descriptive data. The visitors were informed that the data were also collected for research purposes, and that additional written information about the study was available. The interviewed staff members were informed both orally and in writing of the use of the interview data, and their written consent was obtained before the interviews were conducted.
