Ethics approval and consent to participate

: The study was conducted in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. The patients were informed in writing and orally by the study personnel, and a written informed consent was obtained from all subjects. Participation was voluntary, and withdrawal was possible at any time.All patients signed and personally dated the informed consent forms at admission to hospital, before participating in the study. The study was approved by the Medical Ethics Committee of the Local Chamber of Physicians and Dentists of the Warmia and Mazury Province in Olsztyn (Approval no. 37/2013).
