: NIPH is legally responsible for the public health survey, ensuring that it adheres to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. The survey received ethical approval from the National Committees for Research Ethics in Norway (REK) under case number 758840. A Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) was also conducted in collaboration with SIKT (Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research). Following the Norwegian Data Inspectorate’s guidelines, the participants were adequately informed and consented by engaging in the survey online.
: The online survey began with an introductory page that included information about the study’s purpose and a consent form, which respondents had to “click” and agree to before they were directed to the questionnaire.
