: Ethical approval was obtained from the Makerere University School of Medicine Research and Ethics Committee (Mak-SOMREC) with approval No. Mak-SOMREC- 2023 − 685. We also obtained institutional approval from Mulago and Kiruddu National Referral Hospitals to conduct this study in the respective hospitals. Written informed consent was obtained from the participants after they explained the purpose of the study, the benefits, risks, and any special incentives for their participation.
