: Ethical approval was not required for this study as all participants are reflecting on their own experiences and have author or group author status. All participants gave informed consent for the use of their data. AC and SS contacted current IKTRN trainees directly for participation via email, using an “opt out” approach to gain consent to record and transcribe their interview or use their vignette. With the IPA approach, data collected and authors experiences are merged. All authors, including group authors, agreed to the publication of these opinions.
