Financial compensation was offered to end-users who participated in scenario-based workshops to ensure that this aspect did not represent a barrier to their participation. The compensation amounts varied by country and were determined by what was outlined in the Grant Agreement of the Advance Project. Future research concerning co-creation evaluation will start only after participants provide written informed consent to take part in the World Café and in the interviews.
