: The current study involved human participants and therefore all methods were performed in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. The study received scientific review and approval from Makerere University School of Public Health Higher Degrees Research and Ethics Committee (HDREC) ref; HDREC 848. The final ethical clearance was obtained from the Ugandan National Council for Sciences and Technology (UNCST) ref; HS996ES. Further administrative clearance was obtained from the management of all participating health facilities and organizations where the study was conducted. Individual informed consent was obtained from all prospective respondents before conducting the interviews.
