: The present study was conducted in accordance with the principles of the revised Declaration of Helsinki. Ethical approval was obtained from the Research Ethics Committee of the School of Public Health, Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences, Yazd (IR.SSU.SPH.REC.1403.029) prior to study initiation. All patients received care according to standard hospital protocols as determined by their treating surgeons. The researcher had no role in treatment allocation, and patient assignment was based solely on clinical judgment. Prior to enrollment, patients were informed about the potential outcomes of both treatment methods, and written informed consent was obtained from all participants. Patient data were handled confidentially, and all analyses were conducted on anonymized datasets in accordance with the approved ethical procedures.
