: The study data from countries using PMA data (Cote D’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Rajasthan and Uganda) were exempt from IRB approval because it was secondary analysis of data available in the public domain. The original study from Ghana received ethical approval from the Institutional Review Boards of the Guttmacher Institute (IRB00002197), the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (00008463), and the KNUST Committee on Human Research, Publications and Ethics (CHRPE/AP/210/18).
