: The study data from countries using PMA data (Cote D’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Rajasthan and Uganda) were exempt from IRB approval because it was secondary analysis of data available in the public domain. The original study from Ghana received ethical approval from the Institutional Review Boards of the Guttmacher Institute (IRB00002197), the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (00008463), and the KNUST Committee on Human Research, Publications and Ethics (CHRPE/AP/210/18). The original study from Indonesia received ethical approval from the Institutional Review Boards of the Guttmacher Institute (IRB00002197) and the Commission of Research Experts and Research Ethics of the University of Indonesia Faculty of Public Health.
