: Ethical approval was not required for this retrospective observational study, which used anonymized data from the national mortality database (INSERM-CépiDc). The study complied with the provisions of Articles R.1461-12 et seq. of the French Public Health Code and adhered with the ethical standards of the Helsinki Declaration of 1975 (revised in 2013). Access to these data is restricted to qualified researchers authorized by the relevant French authorities.
