Declarations
:
: Study 1 and 2 was approved by the institutional review board of the KIT. According to the guidelines of the Ethics Committee of the University of Konstanz, the German Research Foundation [] and the National Science Foundation [], studies 3 and 4 were exempt from the institutional Ethics Committee review. The reason was that these two surveys were purely observational (noninvasive, noninteractive) and did not induce any type of psychological stress or anxiety. So, no ethics approval number is available. In all studies, participants received oral and written information regarding the study procedures before written informed consent was obtained.
