: Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) liver biopsies from patients with HCC (n = 10) were obtained from the archives of Qingyuan Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University, following Institutional Review Board approval (IRB-2022–094). Cases with significant MDBs (n = 3) were selected and evaluated by experienced pathologists. The study adhered to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki, with data analyzed anonymously. All procedures involving human sample collection were approved and registered at Medicalresearch.org.cn by the tissue bank of the Qingyuan Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University (ChiCTR2400084248). Informed consent was obtained from all participants.Animal experimental protocols were approved by the Animal Care Committee of Guangzhou Medical University (GY2022144 and GY2022-101).
