: Teffs for suppression assays were isolated from Buffy Coats obtained from the Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (DRK; Blutspendedienst Ost GmbH Dresden), as a side product of erythrocyte isolation for clinical use after obtaining informed consent. The apheresis procedure to isolate Tregs for genetic modification was performed at the Department of Transfusion Medicine, Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital at Technische Universität Dresden, after obtaining informed consent from the donors (file number EK − 80,022,019).
