: This study included 24 cases of SHH MB diagnosed in individuals aged < 14.3 years at Taipei Veterans General Hospital (TVGH) and Taipei Medical University Hospital (TMUH) from 1989 to 2019. All participants gave written informed consent in adherence to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. The samples were anonymized and utilized following the approved protocol by the Institutional Review Board of Human Subjects Research Ethics Committee at TMUH and TVGH, Taiwan (IRB approval number 201701441A3). The animal experiments were approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of Academia Sinica (approved protocol no. 20-12-1592) and followed the guidelines for the Use of Laboratory Animals (National Academy Press, Washington, DC).
