Ethics approval and consent to participate: The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Tongji Hospital of Tongji Medical College (Wuhan, China) and was conducted under the Guidelines of the Declaration of Helsinki. All patients provided full consent for the study. All animal experiments were conducted in accordance with the Guide for Care and Use of Laboratory Animals (National Research Council, USA), and the experimental protocols were reviewed and approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) of Tongji Hospital, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. All animals were euthanized in strict accordance with the Chinese national standard GB/T 39760-2021 (Guidelines for the Humane Euthanasia of Laboratory Animals) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Guidelines for the Euthanasia of Animals (2020 edition).
