: The study was approved by the Regional Ethical Review Board in Uppsala, Dnr 2006/327, 2006/327 3B and 2016/106 for children with JIA and Dnr 2014/335 for healthy children. Oral informed consent was required and written informed consent was obtained from children ≥ 12 years of age. As all patients were below 18 years of age, parents signed informed consent as legal representatives.
