Ethics approval and consent to participate: The collection of blood and tumor tissue from glioblastoma patients is a procedure routinely carried out in the framework of a collaboration between the Neurosurgery Centre at the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg (CHL) and the NORLUX Neuro-Oncology Laboratory at the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH) ( ). All patients received a detailed information sheet and signed an informed consent form to agree to provide blood and tissue for research. The procedure was approved by the National Ethics Committee for Research (CNER, PRECISION-PDX, AVIS 201201/06), and the data collection including clinical and genetic data was authorized under pseudo-anonymized format and supervised by the National Data Protection Committee (CNPD, 929/2017) in Luxembourg. The CNER also approved the collection of blood samples from healthy donors (HEALTHY BLOOD, AVIS 202202/02).
