Ethics approval and consent to participate
: For generation of monocyte derived microglia, HIV seronegative donors were enrolled for venous blood draw using a protocol that was reviewed and approved by the CCHMC IRB, in accordance with the requirements of the Code of Federal Regulations on the Protection of Human subjects (45 CFR 46 and 21 CFR 50 and 56). Informed consent was obtained from all the blood donors prior to their participation.
