: The study protocol has been approved by the Ghana Health Service Ethics Review Committee (Protocol ID NO: GHS-ERC 001/06/20). During the data collection, written informed consent was obtained from all participants, including those below 18 years. Waiver of parental consent for those under the age of 18 was justified on grounds that many of the residents of Agbogbloshie and Old Fadama, including those aged 15 to 17, are migrants. While these individuals are legally minors, they could be considered emancipated adults because they live and work independently in Accra.
