: We obtained Ethical Clearance from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of EPHI (Ethiopian Public Health Institute) (Reference number EPHI-1613/820). Our study used data from the National Assessment of the Ethiopian Health Extension Program. Assessment participants were informed about the purpose of the assessment, potential risks, and benefits of participation in the assessment. Information was given to the participants to enable them to understand that participation is on a voluntary basis, that they have the right not to participate in the assessment, and that they can withdraw at any point during the data collection process. Finally, consent was solicited from all participants before the commencement of the assessment interview.
