: The study’s authors received ethical approval from the Navrongo Health Research Centre Institutional Review Board to undertake this research (NHRCIRB546). The project team also engaged the Regional Health Directorate of the Ghana Health Service in the design and delivery of the intervention. Participants were informed of their voluntary participation in the study and were free to withhold answers at any time. They were also free to withdraw at any time without any consequences. Their consent was obtained before the commencement of the interviews and any data collection.
