: Ethical clearance was obtained from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of the Tigray Health Research Institute (THRI) with reference number THRI/4031/1099/2023. A permission letter was obtained from the Tigray Health Bureau. The purpose of the study was explained to the study participants, and informed verbal consent was obtained from each respondent. In addition, for those participants aged less than 18 years, informed verbal consent was obtained from their parents or guardians. Confidentiality was maintained at all levels of the study by avoiding the use of names and other identifiers. Participants were informed to withdraw from the study if they did not want to participate at any time.
