Ethics approval and consent to participate: This study was approved by Lancaster University Faculty of Health and Medicine Research Ethics Committee (FHMREC; FHM-2024-4773-RECR-1). All participant provided written, informed consent and were informed of their right to withdraw at any stage of the research, without giving a reason. The study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki . Data were collected in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations [15]. Given the sensitive nature of this study, a detailed distress protocol was developed for both the participants and researchers. All participants were given contact details for sources of relevant support.
